Amesbury Bowls Club is a private Lawn Bowls Club, founded in 1925, situated in the grounds of Antrobus House, a Grade II listed building, close to Stonehenge and only eight miles from the historic City of Salisbury.
The club is a Registered Community Amateur Sports Club and aims to develop and promote the Game of Lawn Bowls at all levels, providing the Community the opportunity to enjoy the sport and to develop individual skills in competitive and recreational bowls.
Our facilities include a comfortable Clubhouse with a well-stocked Bar and Catering Facilities, and a large Car Park adjacent to the full-size bowling green. There is easy access to the club from the main A345 and the A303 trunk road.
Touring Sides are particularly welcome. Our venue is a very convenient staging-post
en route to and from the West Country and South Coast.
